Spacious Element House in Meriküla
The two-storey element house is a thoughtfully designed and spacious family home with a net floor area of 211.6 m². Its architectural solution stands out primarily through the generous living room, where ceilings follow the roof slopes, creating an impressive sense of space and openness.
The architectural design consciously responds to the specific characteristics of the plot – the limestone escarpment and mature trees on the western side have influenced both the placement of the building and its spatial layout. As a result, a terrace opens from the second floor, offering an ideal setting to enjoy the evening sun. The interior layout has likewise been carefully planned around the needs of a family: the upper floor features a spacious lounge area with direct access to the roof terrace.
The building’s technical solutions support a comfortable and energy-efficient living environment. Heating is provided by a ground-source heat pump, and ventilation is handled by a heat-recovery system. The house meets energy class B requirements (135 kWh/m²·a), offering a well-balanced combination of energy efficiency and everyday comfort.
The project was delivered as a turnkey solution by Timbeco Ehitus OÜ between January and July 2024. The result is a contemporary, light-filled and nature-oriented element house that brings together high-quality prefabricated construction, thoughtful architecture and a family-focused spatial layout.
