The elegant timber building overlooking the Aidu canal blends masterfully into its extreme landscape, where steep and terraced slopes dominate the canal’s edge. The architecture features floor-to-ceiling glass façades extending to the sides, offering a stunning view of the rowing canal. To balance the artificial landscape, both the exterior and interior feature wooden cladding, enhanced by exposed timber structural details. The construction skillfully combines MHM, CLT, glulam, and timber frame elements.

Aidu watersports center is now one of Europe’s finest judge towers, providing an uninterrupted view of the entire canal, from start to finish.
