Woodhouse Estonia would like to invite log house building enthusiast and professionals to visit Estonia and participate at vocational handcrafted log home building competition. Be insipired by the local competence, exchange knowledge and establish new contacts among the top players within the European wood building industry!
Estonia has become the largest exporter of prefabricated wooden houses in Europe. 90% the country’s production is exported (485 M€/2021), mostly to Scandinavia and Germany, but Estonian wooden houses can be found in over 70 countries.
Woodhouse Estonia would like to raise the honor in handcrafted log building and is organizing in 2024 International Log Building Conference. Therefore, this unique PRE-TOUR will be organized in 2023 to gather together and share initial ideas for future cooperation possibilities.

HIIUMAA vocational school is the hidden gem of log building. Masters Andres Veel and Ivo Leiaru has taught log building and traditional timber framing for the whole new generations and their students are the champions of competitions.
